Have one of our expert consultants answer all of your questions.

Q: Does fat go to other places after you have liposuction?

A: This is a very common concern. Once removed, fat does not return to the area that was liposuctioned. In fact, it is very difficult to put weight on in those areas. However, the areas that were not liposuctioned and still have fat cells, can gain weight. Liposuction works best in the areas that do not respond to dieting and exercise such as the abdomen, hips, knees, saddle bags in women, and love handles in men. Because of its safety and effectiveness, liposuction has become the most popular form of cosmetic surgery in this country. For additional information, please call (713) 850-0023.

    Tummy Tuck:

Q: My stomach is not the shape I want it to be since having children. I exercise regularly. What can I do?

A: Pregnancy causes a permanent looseness of stomach muscles, and frequently, excess skin. This usually does not improve even with diet and exercise. Tummy tucks remove loose skin and stretch marks and tightens the muscles. The type of tummy tuck depends on whether the problem is skin, fat, muscles, or a combination.

    Breast Augmentation:

Q: What can be done about my breasts that are starting to sag? Am I a good candidate for breast augmentation?

A: Many patients after childbirth have had the same experience. Breast augmentation is an excellent choice to correct this and restore a natural look and improve the contour of your breast line. A consultation is necessary to determine the method and site of placement.

    Rhinoplasty:

Q: What can be done to correct my nose? It looks too large.

A: Rhinoplasty can correct such problems as a hump on the nose, reshape from injury, or change the size for better balance to the face. The result can be very satisfying. If you have any questions, please call (713) 850-0023 to speak with a consultant.

    Pulselite and Botox :

Q: I look older than my age due to aging skin. What new treatments can correct these signs of aging without major surgery?

A: Pulselite Laser Skin can rid the face, neck, and chest of the signs of aging and sun damage without surgery. It is used in treating rosacea, broken capillaries and redness, reduce embarassing blushing or flushing, fine lines and dark spots, and even dark circles. Botox and Dermalogen can erase frown lines, brow lines, crowsfeet, laughlines, and more.

    Facelift:

Q: Heavy lines below my cheeks are noticeable. What can I do to look younger?

A: A heavily lined face, whose wrinkles are the result of sagging skin and muscles in the lower face usually require a facelift. It involves tightening the underlying musculature of the face and removing excess skin. Heavier lines are greatly improved and jowls vanish which would address your major concerns.
